Calypso Rose

Calypso Rose Wellness is a mother–daughter–founded CBD brand rooted in a mission to make wellness more accessible and approachable. 

I partnered with them for a full brand identity, spanning logo design, packaging, and overall visual direction. I led the initiative end to end, working closely with the client to translate their values into thoughtful, strategic design solutions. The final brand system; particularly the packaging, balanced elegance and femininity, drawing inspiration from the calypso rose itself while positioning the product confidently within the wellness space.

Logo and Brand Identity

The Calypso Rose Wellness logo was designed to feel timeless, thoughtful, and rooted in nature. The rose mark serves as the heart of the brand, symbolizing care, growth, and intentional living. Hand-drawn line work adds warmth and personality, reinforcing the mother daughter foundation behind the business.

The color palette blends soft florals with grounding blues and greens, creating a tone that feels soothing yet confident. Typography was chosen to strike a balance between elegance and approachability, pairing refined letterforms with a straightforward structure. The result is a flexible identity system that translates seamlessly across packaging, digital touchpoints, and future brand extensions.

Packaging

The packaging system was designed to feel calm, elevated, and approachable within the wellness space. A soft, muted color palette helps differentiate formulas while maintaining cohesion across the product line. Pastel tones paired with warm neutrals create a sense of trust and gentleness, reinforcing the brand’s mission to make wellness feel accessible rather than clinical.

The Process

When developing initial concepts, I begin by exploring designs in grayscale to ensure the strength and clarity of the logo mark are evaluated without the influence of color. This approach keeps the focus on form, balance, and legibility. Once a direction is selected, I then explore color applications to bring the identity to life and present thoughtful options tailored to the client’s brand and goals.
